Welcome to Project Kesho Kids!

We are glad you came to look at our blog! Project Kesho is working very hard right now to start some programs for communities in East Africa. Did you know that East Africa is made up of three countries, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda? In these three countries, many children just like you get up each morning to go to school. They are really excited to learn math and reading, and they work hard each day.
At Project Kesho, we found out that many of the schools in East Africa don't have supplies to help students learn the way our schools here in the United States do. We are trying to do something about that. Do you want to help?
This year we will try to raise supplies and money to buy supplies for three schools in Tanzania. You could have a lemonade stand to raise money for supplies. You could ask friends to bring supplies like pens and pencils to your birthday party instead of presents. You could donate some of your allowance to our school supply fund. If you think you can help, email us at projectkesho@yahoo.com
